Bakau market is the cheapest for goods. If you go ask for the elder Jawara and he’ll walk you through all the stores without one person giving you hassle. Mostly because the majority at the market are his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren, but also out of respect. I normally spend an afternoon with them trying my hand at carving with plenty of laughs along the way. A great market and well worthy of a visit unless you’re just going to walk through as its one of the smaller ones.
