<description>1)One of their &quot;sports&quot; are fishing. they dance too. they also have football, wrestling. and more... windsurfing and surfing, sailing

Muslim festivals are timed according to local sightings of various phases of the moon and the dates given above are approximations. During the lunar month of Ramadan that precedes Koriteh, Muslims fast during the day and feast at night and normal business patterns may be interrupted. Many restaurants are closed during the day and there are restrictions on smoking and drinking. Some disruption may continue into Koriteh itself. Koriteh and Tabaski may last anything from two to ten days, depending on the region.

3) They dance and do arts
4) dancing, arts, drums, birdwatching. Fajara - Golf and Sports Club with full Billiard Tables, horse riding

Despite its little size on the map, Gambia is a country full of big things. With English as their colonial language, Gambia&#039;s official language is Wolof and if you ever venture to the country, you better learn it!

Religion: Over 80 per cent Muslim, with the remainder holding either Christian or Animist beliefs.

Recommended Dishes

benachin (also called &#039;Jollof Rice&#039;, a mixture of spiced meat and rice with tomato puree and vegetables), base nyebe (rich stew of chicken or beef with green beans and other vegetables), chere (steamed millet flour balls), domodah (meat stewed in groundnut puree and served with rice), plasas (meat and smoked fish cooked in palm oil with green vegetables) served with fu-fu or mashed cassava chura-gertek (a sweet porridge consisting of pounded groundnuts, rice and milk).
